Autumn

The crisp bright leaves crunch underneath my Sperrys

As I huddle in a warm jacket.

The cool winds tingle my cheeks,

And I vaguely see my breath like smoke in the night air.

The gourds and pumpkins are placed outside,

And cinnamon apple flavored foods are cooked.

Fall Break, Thanksgiving, gobble.

Why must you be so short?
